A wonderful trip in every way: The guides (Xavier Amigo, who has been in Ecuador for 20 years! and Vincent Mouret) have an extraordinary knowledge of birds, so that we can discover them at every moment. They share their passion (birds, botany, geology, history of the country, etc.) by advising us on how to take photos and make the most of this exceptional environment.
The choice of lodges, the beauty of the landscapes and the bio-diversity all contribute to making this an unforgettable trip.
I met Xavier at the Birdfair in Paimboeuf (44-FRANCE), 3 years ago and have remained in constant contact via Vincent. I knew the experience would live up to my expectations, and I was delighted. The birds, the scenery and the people I met made my dream come true. Our guides' knowledgeable explanations and advice during the trip were the perfect complement to the visual discovery of every moment. A special mention to our excellent driver: CARLOS! The first morning was very tiring (travel fatigue - jet lag - too much heavy equipment that Xavier so kindly carried for me at the end of the morning). I'm already thinking of coming back, with NATURE EXPERIENCE, but with slightly different equipment (500 mm rental), and the indispensable tripod!
